ABOUT US

The Captn’s Café was established by three friends (actually, a husband and wife and their friend) who loved to get together and socialize. All three were trying to surprise and out-do each other with the best tasting coffees, wonderful teas, scrumptious cookies, and outrageously delicious gourmet chocolate. One evening these three friends, taking a breath between trying to out-do each other, decided to bring their favorite gourmet wonders to you in a uniquely colorful tub.

The Captn of Captn’s Café is married with 5 fully grown “children” and 3 small grandchildren. The Captn has been self-employed most of his life and started his first business at the age of 19 (many, many high tides ago)! He is also a songwriter and a music director at a large church.

Captn's wife is a wonderful person and is truly a helpmate to the Captn. She involves herself in the needs of others in many ways. She loves crocheting blankets and she is one of the most caring people one would ever meet.

The Captn and his wife’s first mate is also a generous coffee-loving person. Although she runs her own business, her greatest joy is her family and the help that she is able to be to others.

All of the Captn’s Café deckhands (our children) are involved in this family run business and help to prepare boxes for shipping, placing and filling orders, and swabbing the deck when needed. Arrgh Matey!
